We’re on the lookout for a full-time Midweight Creative Designer to support the Creative department with all projects related to Vision Nine’s festivals & client activations. It’s a chance to work in a busy creative department within our office in Covent Garden, producing a wide variety of quality work for festivals such as Boardmasters and NASS, as well as various events and activations for clients such as Corona, Superdry, Relentless, Puma, Kodak…

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Working across a range of media disciplines, including visual identity, event branding, digital & print marketing assets, venue décor, POS, presentations, mockups or illustrations, ensuring a consistency and coherence throughout the design concept.

Immersing yourself in the mindset of the consumer so that you can understand your audience and design with them in mind.

Designing and delivering 360 marketing campaigns over the entire life cycle of projects, from concept through to live event.

Taking an active part in new business pitches, helping draw out concepts, infographics and mockups as well as leading the presentation design.

Working closely with other departments. You will be expected to be conversant with them to achieve a consistency of look and feel across disciplines.

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES

At least 3 years professional experience within an agency or client side design environment

Highly skilled at Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

Experience working with Microsoft Office: Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Excel…

Knowledge of Sketch Up, After Effects (or similar) would be welcome but not essential

Ability to work on both large and small format print, as well as pixel perfect digital design

An excellent creative thinker with the skills to communicate ideas intelligently and concisely

Strong layout and typographic skills with an eye for detail and consistency

A hard worker who takes instruction well, is a quick learner and able to think on their feet

Culture and attitude are important. You must be confident, enthusiastic and pro active, with a desire to work in a fast paced, energetic, and deadline driven environment. Interest or experience working in any of the following sectors would be beneficial: music, live entertainment, action sports, youth culture, travel lifestyle.

The role includes being onsite pre and during both of our major festivals: NASS (11–14 July) and Boardmasters (7–11 August), as well as other commitments throughout the summer.
