We are looking for an experience Brand Marketing Manager to join us and lead our brand and marketing campaigns.
You will have demonstrable experience and success working within the travel industry. If you have experience within the family market, that will be particularly advantageous – we’d really love to hear from you!
Trying things and taking risks is a big thing for us. We’re not your standard family holiday brand, and we don’t want our marketing to be standard either.
Initially this will be a remote role, with 2 days per week in our Covent Garden (London) office once the UK opens up again.
You’ll be reporting into our Brand & Marketing Director with a strong day-to-day working relationship with Cloud Nine’s General and Assistant Managers.
As we’re building a new business, you’ll also be getting plenty of face time with our CEO and senior management team – so, we’re looking for someone who is confident and comfortable working with all levels of the business.
You’ll be a member of Vision Nine (Cloud Nine’s parent company) central marketing team. We’re a small, agile team, who work across all of Vision Nine’s brands, festivals and events.
You will be the marketing lead for Cloud Nine. You’ll be responsible for leading and implementing the remainder of our 2021 campaign to exceed our Summer 2021 occupancy goals and launching bookings for 2022 as well as new campsites.
In parallel, you’ll be developing and refining our brand marketing activities, with support from an external brand consultant.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING?
You’ll be leading and implementing marketing campaigns across the full marketing mix.
You’ll be Cloud Nine’s brand guardian. You’ll work to ensure our team understand (and are using) our brand guidelines and tone-of-voice.
You’ll lead on building the Cloud Nine brand with support from an external brand consultant and the wider marketing team. These include, but are not limited too – refining our ethos, tone of voice, brand influencer/ambassador recruitment, content campaigns, surprise and delight, guest comms.
You’ll manage our external agencies and consultants (PR, content, digital).
You’ll develop and lead our social strategy with support from our Senior Marketing Executive.
You’ll work with other teams to look for commercial opportunities and remove barriers to sale.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You’ll have demonstrable experience and success from a previous, equivalent role within the travel sector.
You are a team player with excellent communication skills. You are a dab hand at project management, line management etc. and know how to keep a project on track.
You will have the ability to prioritise your own workload and show initiative.
Experience of martech such Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Later, Asana would be helpful.
You know how to use the usual suspects – Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. If you know how to use Microsoft Teams that is even better, but if not, we’ll help you get up to speed.
You’re happy to travel and work at our camps as required during July and August.
