ROLE SUMMARY
As an Operations Manager you are meticulous about getting work done on time, on budget and to a standard that exceeds our customers’ expectations. You will have a background of 2+ years in supplier side glamping operations management.
You will be a technical and savvy individual responsible for taking the production lead on a number of projects, running concurrently.
You will be able to effectively work in a multi-stakeholder environment and work with the team around you to manage tight deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement of all glamping stock
Procurement of all internal fit out elements such as flooring, furniture, bedding, lighting and ancillary items
Inventory management, including maintenance & storage
Glamping changeover management, including cleaning regimes and stock movement
Management of on-site event delivery
Management of day to day maintenance and customer service
Development and day to day management of operations budgets
Site planning, including drawing of site plans
Procurement and management of 3rd party suppliers
Production and implementation of multi-site Standard Operating Procedures
Recruitment, management & scheduling of site staff
Creation and implementation of relevant H&S procedures/documentation
Provide project status updates for key stakeholders
KEY REQUIREMENTS
2+ years’ experience working in operations for a glamping supplier
Experience of procurement in the UK and other jurisdictions
Strong logistics management skills
Experience of managing and building relationships with third party suppliers, sub-contractors and freelancers
Knowledge of site infrastructure and technical production elements within events
Some knowledge of H&S planning desirable
AutoCAD skills highly preferable
