Partnership Account Manager

Role Summary

We are on the hunt for an experienced Partnership Account Manager with 2+ years previous account management experience.

You will be responsible for the account management of our strategic partners across our music festival portfolio. You will own the fulfilment and client servicing process supporting our sales team to deliver for our existing partners.

You will support the sales team to maximise sponsorship and brand partnership revenues into Vision Nine’s owned events, joint ventures and 3rd party festivals. You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills and expected to use your initiative. A can-do attitude with the desire to deliver best-in-class partnerships is a must. This is an exciting role for an ambitious individual and performance will be reviewed on the team’s ability to retain and renew partnerships.

You will support the sponsorship process through from initial meeting and concept creation to onsite delivery and be responsible for the fulfilment of brand partnerships, including marketing rights.

In this role you will work alongside the Head of R&P, Partnership Production Manager and wider sales team. You will sit as a key member of the Rights and Partnership department, contributing with insight and creativity to the maximising of Vision Nine’s wider commercial interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help manage the relationship with the Sponsor and/or Agency and be the day-to-day point of contact during the sponsorship agreement
  • Through sponsorship analysis gain a complete understanding of the sponsor and their objectives for their sponsorship activity
  • Manage the sponsorship package activation plan covering all elements of the sponsorship and assist with creative brainstorming when needed
  • Set up and attend client meetings and maintaining regular contact
  • Build trust and grow relationships with Sponsors to ensure long term partnerships
  • Constantly look for ways to deliver added value to the Sponsor and the event
  • Ensure the sponsorship objectives are met and all elements of the sponsorship agreement are delivered
  • Act as conduit between the Sponsor, Event Management, Operations and Marketing teams
  • Represent the Sponsor’s interests during internal meetings and event decisions
  • Assist in renewing sponsorships and maintaining multi-year deals
  • Ensure the Sponsors’ marketing messages and objectives are reflected accurately through the events marketing and PR campaign in conjunction with events marketing team
  • Be responsible for managing the sign-off on all Sponsor marketing activity
  • Co-ordinate digital marketing assets and managing delivery with our in-house marketing teams
  • Provide regular activation updates to Event Management and Operations teams, detailing the design, build and content creation of sponsor activity at the events
  • Coordinate accreditation documentation for all Sponsors pre-event
  • Support the Partnership Production Manager and Operations team with the pre-show and on-site operational elements, ordering site services and managing the recharge budget
  • Lead the client servicing of partners on-site during the live event
  • Manage the hospitality process and guest list for inviting prospects, leads and potential sponsors
  • Lead the post-event reporting process with support from sponsorship sales team
  • Attend post-event debrief meetings to secure renewals

Required Experience

  • Experience of managing sponsorship activations in an Account Management role or Client Servicing role
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Event industry – on-site operational experience is a must

Skills and Abilities

  • Confident dealing with clients of all levels
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build long lasting working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to self-direct and motivate and work with minimal supervision
  • A strong team player that is flexible dependent on business demand
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to work calmly under pressure whilst meeting deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise

Additional Information

  • This role will be based at our office in Covent Garden, London
  • Working hours are 9:30 – 18:00, Monday to Friday (Friday finish at 4pm)
  • Currently we work from home Tuesday and Friday (this is subject to change during the busy summer period)
  • Occasional travel and weekend work may be required
