Our Rights & Partnerships team is growing and are now on the hunt for a senior rights and partnerships manager who has a passion for the live entertainment industry and a minimum of 5 years previous sales experience.
You will be responsible for maximising sponsorship and brand partnership revenues with the Vision Nine events portfolio, as well as additional joint ventures and 3rd party festivals.
Additionally, you will be responsible for securing sponsorship revenue from your existing client network, renewing and developing existing relationships, generating new business leads with brands as well as pitching to 3rd party experiential and media agencies.
This is the perfect role for an ambitious individual whose looking to join a driven sales team that is rewarded on its ability to make sales.
You will follow the sales process through from lead to conversion to onsite delivery and be responsible for the fulfilment of all aspects of the brand partnership, including contract negotiation, financial accountability and rights activation.
In this role you will work alongside the Head of Rights & Partnerships and the wider sales team to achieve sponsorship targets. We operate on a team commission basis – not individual contribution and you will also be expected to assist, support and mentor a Rights & Partnerships Manager, plus other staff in the team that would benefit from your experience.
You will sit as a key member of the Rights and Partnerships department, contributing with your knowledge, insight and creativity to maximise Vision Nine’s wider commercial interests.
You will be expected to:
Work across all current Vision Nine events and any new ventures as they arise.
Be commercial lead for specific events and shoulder accountability for meeting revenue targets whilst motivating the wider team.
Deliver portfolio deals across a range of events and negotiate multi-year terms.
Bring a network of existing brand and agency relationships.
Pick up current relationships and quickly forge new ones with relevant prospects.
Immerse yourself in the festival and entertainment industry, have a thorough knowledge of the agency landscape and be up to date with brand marketing trends.
Work closely with other departments within the company which consist of event management, production, marketing, creative and finance. Your role entails representing both Vision Nine interests and those of your clients.
Manage deadlines and keep cool under pressure whilst dealing with changing priorities and multiple projects.
Have a desire to work in a fast paced, energetic and deadline driven environment. Culture and attitude are very important. A passion for live events, festivals and pop culture is essential.
To qualify you will:
Have a proven track record of negotiating sponsorship or sales deals with reputable brand clients and/or experiential agencies. Have the business acumen and commercial awareness to successfully negotiate deals with budget holders. Experience of portfolio selling is advantageous.
Be from a festival, integrated or sponsorship agency, sport, music, entertainment or media background with an understanding of both the UK and international entertainment markets.
Be target orientated, with the drive to exceed expected revenue generation targets and grow revenue streams year on year.
Demonstrate an ability to think creatively and sell intangible rights, understand brand consumer marketing and strategy and be confident is demonstrating to prospects how Vision Nine events can fulfil these objectives.
Show evidence of having gone above and beyond in your previous job role, that you can graft when the going gets tough and will step up as challenges arise.
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, an eye for new opportunities and the vision and tenacity to see your ideas through to fruition.
