Burn came to us with a question: how to create a credible connection with a youth audience who are passionate about snowboarding? The answer was clear: partner with the biggest and most prestigious event in European snowboarding.

Solution

Over three years, Burn’s sponsorship of the Air & Style went from strength to strength. It included various hospitality programs, experiential zones and brand owned offshoot events like rail jams and film premieres, not to mention the kudos of its own team riders throwing down in the main contest. Things culminated in the Burn Style Session, a brand-owned add-on event that brought some legendary figures from the past two decades of snowboarding back into the fold.

Impact

In just three years, Burn’s association with the Air & Style transformed it from relative newcomer to respected industry player. The Burn Style Session sold over 15,000 tickets, and Burn now has the highest levels of credibility within the core snowboarding community. If that’s not a stratospheric rise, we don’t know what is.
