When it comes to cultural expression, the folks at Burn Energy Drink have their proverbial finger in a not inconsiderable number of pies. They contacted us looking for an event that would bring those various strands together and showcase them as one cohesive, electrifying whole, generating some solid branded content along the way.
We got hold of a disused market hall in Budapest and transformed it into a creative event space par excellence, housing the world’s biggest skateable sculpture and some F1 inspired street art. We knew the Burn Yard event finale had to be big, so we lined up a headline set by international superstar DJ Avicii.
Thanks to the digital teasing phase and some nifty ticket competition mechanics, the event created exactly the kind of global social media stir we were aiming for. The accompanying five-episode content series clocked up over two million views, and generated a hefty customer engagement spike to boot.
