The team at PUMA got in touch during the run up to the launch of the new PUMA One boot, looking for a way to generate a bit of extra buzz. Our mission was to invent a means of providing consumers with that elusive experience money can’t buy, creating a piece of highly sharable content on the side.
Working with local football clubs, we launched a campaign to recruit players to feature in the ATL PUMA One Campaign. A hand-selected group of juniors were invited to a professional football ‘casting’ in a secret Liverpool location… needless to say, it was a lot of fun capturing the shocked and surprised expressions when Adam Lallana appeared mid-shoot.
The shoot involved 45 participants, and the resulting content was distributed on Soccer AM, where it generated over 73,000 views. We got 100% positive feedback from players and parents, and the content spent two weeks on the biggest digital billboard in Europe.
