Mission

For their stage at Leeds Festival 2016, Relentless tasked us with creating something special: a unique and immersive space that would truly enhance the festival experience, yet provide a sense of escapism from the crowds.

Solution

Starting from scratch, we conceived and created a custom stage, specially designed to reflect the shape of a bursting energy molecule. Next, we hit it with some cutting-edge projection-mapped content to create a jaw-dropping 360-degree experience. Finally, we locked in live performances from the likes of Deadmau5, Andy C and Hannah Wants.

Impact

More than 60,000 people experienced the stage over four days, with a whopping 35% of the entire festival population making it their Saturday night destination of choice. All in all, over 71% of festival-goers stopped to check it out. Relentless ranked the highest in brand recall at Leeds Festival for the third consecutive year, and won Best Brand Activation at the UK Festival Awards 2016.
