MISSION

St Pete’s Clearwater tasked us with creating a beachside activation to replicate Pier 60 in St Pete’s, Clearwater Florida. The core objective was to promote and drive interest amongst families to consider Florida as their next holiday destination. 

SOLUTION

Our solution was simple; recreate the famous Pier 60 at Boardmasters! A place to host daily street performances including unicyclists, jugglers and magicians. The pier hosted competition giveaway, daily street art and a VR activation where individuals could be transported to Florida, experiencing all the activities on offer including canoeing, paragliding & even dipping their toes into the Atlantic!

Visit St. Pete/Clearwater were delighted to be the first ever destination sponsor at Boardmasters this year and it proved to be a great success. Our stand was positioned in a prime location on the Headlands at Fistral Beach attracting a huge number of families, who were very engaged in the brand. We had various activations including VR googles, street artist, regular live street performers, games, giveaways, as well as an opportunity to win a family holiday to St. Pete/Clearwater courtesy of Ocean Holidays.
